The Merrell Sandspur 2 Convert is a well-made sandal with fabulous support. Although designed for men, women can wear these sandals as well. They are not waterproof, but it does not harm them in any way. The velcro straps work well and are long enough to wear the sandals with or without socks and still maintain the proper width. They are versatile and can be used for hiking and long walks. The sandals' overall Construction and quality make it a worthwhile purchase.
