It is described as heavy and well-made, indicating excellent durability. Users have expressed satisfaction with the tool's performance, stating that it works well and exceeds expectations. However, some customers have reported issues with the replaceable tips. They mentioned that the tips that came with the pliers were pressed in too tightly, making it difficult to remove them. This may be a factor that discourages potential buyers who seek easy interchangeability. Another limitation noted by a customer is that the pliers may not be suitable for removing internal AC clutch snap rings. They mentioned that the tool does not go deep enough for this specific application. Despite these drawbacks, the majority of customers seem to be pleased with the Lang Tools 1434 Internal/External Quick Switch Retaining Ring Pliers and Tip Kit.
